The three brothers "Hanson" all the way from down under (Australia) has just performed last night at their showcase which was held at Hard Rock Cafe @ Concorde Hotel KL.






This is not a normal showcase at all, and for those who paid (first drink) to get into HRC, it is so WORTH IT!!!

They didn't sing 3 songs, not 5 songs, not 7 songs (7 is the max for a showcase). But they sang 14 SONGS !!!





Don't really have great pictures of the event since the FANS were swarming in front of the stage!!! (my life is more precious than taking pics of Hanson) so yea, decided to take pics from far away and chill out with some girl friends. :P

They (the girls below) were all already inside HRC when i got there. But had to wait outside first since William got lost along the way and ended up somewhere quite far away from KL (i shall not mention anything).

Of course, they sang their legendary MMM...BOP~! Penny and a few other hit singles that you probably would have heard it on hitz.fm (92.9FM in the Klang Valley).


Now we'r going to go a bit off track from the topic. A few people that i intended to meet up with at HRC last night. Only 2 ppl couldn't make it out of the 5.

Well, below is a pic of me with Selina, an old old friend. She's been busy, although we'r in the same uni and all we still keep an eye for each other.




Below is a picture of me with May Yee. She just came back from Australia and woohoo !! t'is the 2nd time we meet in KL since she got back. Well May Yee used to be my partner in crime!!! We go for all the movie screenings together, musical events and etc (since she's in another media company).






And these are my friend from HOT magazine. Promised them that we would meet up again after our genting trip last weekend. Here we are again!!! :)




And here's Jeannie, my friend from Bukit Jalil :P Finally got the chance to go out with her last night !!! She owes me !!! We were suppose to go out for Latte @ 8 show at Sunway Pyramid...but she's always busy la...

As many of you know, UNICEF actually stands for United Nations International Child Education Funds. It is under the parent body "United Nations" where it is the sister organisation to the UNESCO which is the United Nations Educational Scienfitic & Cultural Organisation.

The event that Darren, William and myself went to last night which was held at the Parkroyal Hotel Banquet Hall was "The State of the World's Children 2005 Childhood Under Threat" which was launched in Malaysia by Malaysian Women Heroes and led by YABhg. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah bt. Mohd Ali.




Caption: Group picture of the children / kids / teenagers that will be appearing on 8TV this sunday @ 3PM. They have recorded a show, that will entice each and everyone of you!!! We had a preview of it, its so funny !! that it will make u laugh and share some important facts and information about your rights!


There is not much that i can say about this as I am not qualified to say much about this subject. You have to be there at the event to really understand whats going around us, globally that's affecting other childrens around the world.

We should be thankful that we are living in a country that has no war, we have a place to live in, food to eat, education, protection!





But some of us think about it the other way round... such as when asked "What do you think of other children who are living outside of Malaysia, how are their lives?"

Many of us might give the answer "They'r having a better life than us". Which is totally wrong. Because we are lucky to be here !!! and not experiencing the menace that the other children are getting.

Anyways, my mom has been complaining about her phone over the past 2 months, bcoz it gets hot really fast once u start talking on the phone, and many more. But she stopped talking about it till a few weeks back and a few days ago...





So I decided to get her a *chix* phone! (Well that's what is written on the nokia website, especially meant for woeman).

Went to KLCC yesterday, was really in a rush since i have a UNICEF event to go to at 6, went to a Nokia shop in KLCC and chose the Nokia 6610i and voila. Paid for it and went home.

Wow, it was really FAST! I've never bought a phone so fast EVER!

It was about RM 950 for the whole thing since im not taking a registered phone line.

So yea, she's so happy now!!! but when i tested the phone here at home, the back cover sort of gave a squeaky sound when u hold the phone to adjust settings or what not.

Going back to KLCC after this to make the guy change the cover or something.

Wasssuppp....wow, almost 2am now!!!

Yesterday (wednesday) at 6.45pm we had the exclusive CHANCE of intervie (and meeting) with the Hanson brothers!!!

What can I say, they were cool!!! He kept on commenting on every1's hot gadget (voice recorders).

Since Bobby had an MP3 recorder, Anne from H.O.T magazine had a tape recorder, and was also recording on her PDA, and I put my Bluetooth headset right in front of him and was about 5 meters away recording (WIRELESSLY) the interview.





Anyways, Hanson commented that he felt "SMALL" coz i was taller than HIM!!! and he has never met anyone taller than him during his tour across ASIA!!!

Woohoo...anyways after the interview we went to room 1068, we had an .ORG ... NAHH !!! hahah :P We just went in to the other room for a cuppa coffee and i was putting the photos at the right places for my bro's bday present. And there we were, Bobby, Anne from H.O.T magazine and Aileen from Seventeen Mag.

Anyways, had his b'day at CPK KLCC. I was VERY VERY LATE !!! Didn't want to be late at first but schedule was really PACKED !!! (traffic jam) !!!

Anyways, yesterday i was in the office till about 2.30pm then rushed to PJ to meet up with one of my clients from Universal Music (of course la... to pickup FREE CD's !!! NEW CD's and samplers) Right after that at 4pm departed for Times Square...to produce the photos of me n my bro's n his GF's penang trip for Raya !!! so yea, went to times square to develop the photos to put it into a frame as a b'day gift (how original is that) ...

This is the second time im typing this blog entry, the first one just vanished!!! Pressed the wrong button just now... *sigh*

Juz gonna make it short and simple, well I was out for lunch with this mysterious girl (well i know her la) but didnt really wanna tell Albert who im out for lunch with at Manhattan Fish Market (MV) together with Bobby.





So yea, u see... Albert and I we have alot of common friends you see. Over 180 common friends just on friendster, and alot more in real life (those who doesn't have friendster).

Anyways, i was out for lunch with May Yee, she used to be part of the Xfresh CREW but now is studying in Melbourne. So yea she was back here for summer hols and just took her out for lunch la.





Didn't really wanna tell albert who she was, since last time i checked he made me gave out 4 names out of 5 girls that i went out with for a night out at Alexis Bar @ Bangsar (my collegemates from LimKokWing University). So yea i had to give him 4 names in order for him to give me 1 name.. which is the name of the winner of the MTV Asia Awards Nomination Party 2005.

Believe it or not...Ocean's TWELVE is a good movie to watch!!!
Worth every single penny


This time around, you won't be hearing it first from shazFX! Since i don't want to release any spoilers for you MOVIE watchers, yes...Bobby and I have watched "Ocean's Twelve" TODAY (tuesday) ahead of the release in USA & Hong Kong. Press Screening for Ocean's Twelve was really tight (security wise) and its a great movie!!! Why don't you go watch it...

Ho Ho Ho... It's that time of the year again when the Xfresh StreetSurfers surfs the streets of Kuala Lumpur for Xfresh!!!





This week, they will be giving away "MYSTERY CD's" HA HA HA...!!!

Last saturday & sunday while i was on my Genting trip (saturday), the Xfresh StreetSurfers were in Sepang for the Proton Track Carnival, well i only managed to go there on sunday for a few hours (since my bus was delayed by 2 hrs).





For sunday's 4.55pm cross over the crew on duty were XF|Fin, XF|Kim, XF|Philip, XF|Syefri, XF|Shaz...

Let's sidetrack for a short while, today (tuesday) Bobby, a mysterious girl and I went to Manhattan Fish Market @ MidValley Megamall for lunch together. We finished watching this press screening of Ocean's TWELVE !!!

Yes, we know it all, ahahha...don't worry! it's a cool FILM - NICE and not that predictable!

Whats'up...i know you've been waiting all these while for the Genting trip blog update. Yes, i've been really busy these past few days. Loads of things to do at the office, so many interviews and things to attend to.

Anyways, i went up to Genting on last saturday morning for the Maksim Mrvica press conference and showcase.

Of course, it was an all expense paid trip to Genting!!! woohoo...FREE FOOD.





Reached KL Sentral at 11.30 for the bus, but our friend from EMI Music was a bit late. Got up on the bus and departed from KL Sentral at noon and reached the peak of genting highlands at 1.30pm.

We were ushered from genting hotel to the "Be A Star Karaoke" for lunch.

Western lunch, buffet style...with pasta, chicken wings and much more. Time was very limited, the press conference started on time at 2pm.

Didn't really have much to ask to Maksim, therefore the Press Conference was really short, sweet and simple.

Checked in to the hotel right after the press conference, stayed at the First World Hotel on the 9th floor. Quite a decent room, but i really don't know why they put the television on top of the cupboard.

Anyways, i went back to the "Be A Star Karaoke" after checking into the hotel, invited the guys from "Loudmusik" to join for second lunch, but they were too busy with other stuffs.

At about 4.30, i joined Leena for a cuppa coffee @ Starbucks Coffee of Highlands Hotel. Then at 4.45 there was the hi-tea with Maksim & winners. Didn't attend to that as im TIRED of EATING. Mwhahaha...

(I know this blog update kinda sux, but im really tired to write more exciting stuffs)

In between, i met up with some friends...Fabian and Serena of hitz.fm were there to emcee an event, so we sat down for a while and talk. They were really tired emcee'ing this mGAMES event that was happening throughout the weekend.





Next person i went to see was an old friend, her name is Jessica!!! we stopped and chatted for a while and promissed to go for yum char or something after she's done with her stuffs. But i forgot to give her my number, well i got hers that day - but i only sms'd her at 2am and that was a tad bit too late...don't you think so.





Showcase started right on time at 8.30pm, finished at about 9.30pm.
There was a short autograph session for about 50 lucky winners who went up on stage to claim their autograph and photo with Maksim.





Guess what, these "MAKSIM" fans are CRAZYYY !!! even over a bottle of "MINERAL WATER". Yes, you heard me right. There was 4 bottles of mineral water by the side of Maksim's piano, one of them was opened as he had drank it during his showcase. But the fans were asking us (people on stage) to throw them the water bottles.





But hey, i did throw 2 to the public, kept the last bottle for myself. It was sealed, so i knew that it wasn't opened yet...so thirsty !! and it was quite hot in the arena of stars. So yea la...drank it! what else... :P





Anyways, had supper with a couple of friends from H.O.T magazine. It's a new magazine which is 6 weeks old now, it's a weekly magazine with almost everything about news, entertainment, sports and TV guide. Finish our yum char at about 12.30am, wow...so sleepy!





Next day, woke up at 10.30am, almost missed the bus! had my shower, rushed down to starbucks and got breakfast and off i went up in the bus for a nice return to KL.





Today, tuesday 7th of december - had a lovely day. Interview with Maksim at JW Marriott 24th floor PENTHOUSE !!





Woohoo...JACKPOT! Arranged the interview for William and Bobby with Maksim. As Leena, who was suppose to interview Maksim, had a punctured tyre so she couldn't make it on time to the interview, so plan B was to have William and Bobby to interview him. Well we kept it short and simple, told Will to only ask Maksim 3 questions and then we can spend the rest of the time for PHOTO SHOOT!!!





Wouldn't this be a good toothbrush / toothpaste advert??? :P
