Felix Chu's B'day Party
21'st Birthday

Felix's bday party was on the 6th of Feb, although his bday is on the 10th. But hey, that's like the day after CNY. So yea, made it earlier than ever :P

This must have been the biggest B'day party i've ever been to / seen here in Malaysia.

There was over 90 people there, of which we all know each other (almost). And food was awesome!

Here are the pics, enjoy...

Lots n lots of people more (can't see thru cam)

Lucky arr felix, surrounded by girls...

Awww...poor felix! It's gonna take him lots n lots of shampoo to take those off.

Cake + Water + Laughter = All u can get on your birthday...(where did the eggs n flour went)...

Payback time...woohoo! da guy who threw the cake at him :P

Thank you for coming...

Shaz...you'r so dead! thank god you forgot to bring the eggs n flour :P
Yes, this is partly the cause why i've been away for such a long time. Was in Singapore for a short holiday/shopping trip.

That explains it all why im dead broke now. Been having mamak or cheap tepi jalan punyer food stall for dinner or lunch. No more expensive stuffs for me...damn broke, haven't paid my phone bill yet. My Maxis Line Got Barred, too busy to pay my bill, my Digi is working fine.

Now, I went to Singapore by car with my friend James. We were there for:
1. Shopping
2. Meeting up with my nephew
3. Food (Burger King & Mcdonalds)
4. Meeting up with my collegemate
5. Holiday
6. Shopping

Didn't i just mentioned shopping on point 1 :P I know everything is expensive there, but my friend mostly was there to shop for clothes, and i was there to shop for more and more CD's from the music haven for all music lovers "HMV". will tell you all more about it later in this entry. Its gonna be a photo blog entry kinda thing.

Have fun and bare with me yea, there's more than 20 phbtographs to be loaded.

---------------------------------------

We just arrived into Singapore, woohoo!! still got some Maxis line till a certain point...where we lost it :(

Here's a bigger view of the country :P Looks nice, CBD and all but hey - is it really worth it.

No this is not the hotel that we stayed in. This is a building that we found on the way to Bugis Junction from the hotel that we stayed at. Nice colourful stairways they have... We stayed at this Oxford hotel, its a 3 star hotel la by Singaporean standard. $80 Sing per night, ok la...I'd rather not stay here next time.

Me at Bugis Junction, nice view...it's like "Chinatown" there, well their indoor version of Petaling Street. Actually our Petaling Street in KL is suppose to be like this, but they only covered the top so that if it rains, it wont affect the market. But Singapore went one step ahead of us by adding air-conditioning to this big ass area.

For a country that can't afford to pay more for water, and is making its people drink recycled water. Wow, they'r wasting a whole lot over here.

Oh look, the MRT there are just awesome, at some places you can go down the stairs like 5 floors or something and there's trains on every single level. If im not mistaken its the City Hall Station.

Now, what's the difference with Malaysian McDonalds Ice Cream? Well, one thing for sure their cone ice cream here is 25cents. And for the homemade McDonalds cornetto cone look-a-like its more expensive la.

Won't u just fall in love to this ice-cream! Hot Chocolate Ganache...ermm...

Johnson's mom went shopping at Robinson's, almost everyone's mom who goes to Singapore shops at Robinson!!! Why???

Now this is funny, we certainly don't see this in KL. The other hole on the post box says "Other Countries"...well, in Malaysia we do put "Lain Lain Tempat" but not until "Lain Lain Country". How small is Singapore? Well, i bet its smaller than Penang.

Yes, this is like HEAVEN ON EARTH. Now, where did i hear that from? HMV, a 10 times better version of Tower Records in Malaysia. But hey, Tower in US mana boleh kalahkan HMV...

Now, if you do this in KL, you would either 1. Get run over, 2. Get killed, 3. Get maniacs car drivers honking at you.

Do we have this here in Malaysia? The latest i've seen are those hotdog buns with ice cream on em.

Especially for Damansara and PJ people, im sure you guys are just waiting for Atria @ DJ to change and become just like this Wisma Atria in Singapore.

If you ever get dizzy walking in the underpass after coming out of the MRT (Train) in Singapore, its normal...there are more than 30 of these ever changing advert-boards underground, and they all change ads at the same time and make the same noise.

A nice church located near Queen Street.

Do we have any of these "posh" 7-Eleven here in KL?

Their Big-Gulp is really BIG! bigger than KL's.

This is something that i would really love to try here in KL. Don't know what its called, but one of my friends told me that u can find it here.

Looks like one of those fire dept. house kinda thing.

Weird...nice use of color, but BAD!!!

Hooters Singapore, gosh...who've never heard of them? This is where...nevermind! I shall not go there. Went there on saturday evening, and came back again on Sunday morning to take more pics.

One nite stand!!! You must be kidding me :P

Something happening at Clarke Quay on that sunday morning, some DIY boat competition thingy. I wonder if this guy can make his boat float or will it sink?

Went to another shopping mall after Clarke Quay, my nephew Adrian, my friend James and I couldn't resist...we had to go for some ICE-Cream!

Now, isn't that just so yummy!?

This is just so tempting isn't?

Now, open up your mouth...you don't want any Haagen Dazz on your shirt, would you?

Yummy...ermmmg....OMG...should have just eaten Haagen Dazz in KL, its almost twice the price there.

This is my nephew Adrian, we were together with James too - had lunch at Burger King.

OMG, i can't believe this...more than 10ppl are queueing up outside of this underground / shopping mall train station place.

Now, isn't the Singapore MRT map is BIG?

I was so damn tired, went onto the train...found a seat...when i was just about to sit down, i turned around facing the door and saw this lady holding a baby. Gave her my seat, although it was the other guy 2 seats away from me who was suppose to release his seat for those in need!

Now, this is what you don't see in KL! Why arr...

Did i tell you that i like Vanilla, White chocolate, and any other chocolates with oreo's?

We departed back for KL on Sunday evening. Left Singapore at 5pm sharp, reached home at 9pm sharp. That's 4 Hrs on the road. But we did it in 3hrs 36mins. Of which we took 24 mins break time at the R&R on the highway.

Overall, it was an awesome road-trip. Had alot of stuffs to do, place was awesome. But toll and petrol is a bomb! Toll itself in Malaysia we paid RM 100 return trip, petrol RM 90, and toll for car to enter Singapore was $30 Sing.

No, we'r not talking about William as in Crazystrat...By the way this is an old entry, was suppose to put it earlier. I first came here with Felix, and brought Albert and William four days later.

There's this place at Taman Mayang - where the old LimKokWing Uni Campus is @ Kelana Jaya. Its' a 'mamak' kind a stall by the side of the road (shack kinda thing)...really nice food.

Especially the Cheese Naan, they'r using real Mozarella Cheese. And they don't just have one type of cheese - they have three (Parmesan, Cheddar, Mozarella).

Yes, you can even customize your Cheese Naan with Chicken, Beef, Turkey, Ham, and lots more (Halal).

They also have other western food such as Pasta, tomato and cream based.

If you are familiar with Murni @ SS2, well Williams is the brother to the owner of Murni.

This 'mamak' doesn't have any signage which says "Williams" or what...so don't go around Kelana Jaya and asking for a Williams.

Right after Williams on that night, Felix and I went to Ziyad's place for some Shisha while at the same time we helped Ziyad with his "office work".

Now, what is "SHISHA"? Its some arabian smoke thingy..majiggy..try it out la..@..Hartamas or something. It comes in different flavors and you can change the water base to Vanilla Coke, Sprite or other soft drinks.

Yes, there's alot more things to pack, clothes to be separated, and more...It wasn't just in January that all the help was badly need, you can still come over to the HQ today, tomorrow, every day in fact from 9am - 11pm to help out with the packing and stuffs.

For address and contact number of person in charge over there, do not hesitate to contact me (shaz@xfresh.com).

---------------------------------------

These photos were taken like three weeks ago, we went there on a sunday. There was no other volunteers on this day. We were amongst the first to be there actually.

We helped in packing a whole lot of Dettol Body Wash, i think we packed about 10 crates and later on helped with the re-packaging of the Dettol Gel. There were a lot which boxes were damaged due to heavy rain, and these were left out in the open.

Its sad to find out that these Dettol Body Wash has found legs and a lot of them has been walking away...without anyone knowing it. Boxes were opened, and loads were missing. So sad...when there are many other people out there who has suffered alot, they need it more than us...and there are people who would actually steal it.

---------------------------------------

From Left: Kevin, Ziyad, Mahfuz, LyMun

We were sitting on top of this machine which was carrying a few sets of crates / pellets.

Was about to start packing a whole lot of stuffs in the hot sun.

These boxes are *REAL* heavy! imagine 12 big plastic bottles of Dettol Body Wash Gel.

Now its time to pack them all up with the plastic thing.

Now, that's even more heavier. No wonder you need those big ass machines to do all the lifting.

This is where we start packing all the loose Dettol Body Wash bottles, and the opened boxes.

We put them into some new / dry boxes instead of the ones that they are in (wet).

---------------------------------------

That was the end of the afternoon session, we all went home right after that...

Later on in the evening, we all went for dinner at Chop & Steak @ Kampung Baru - KL.

Don't really know how to describe where this place really is. Its very secluded, but the food is AWESOME. Especially the Mango Juice.

Kevin hasn't eaten for like 2 days, he ate like for 3 people that night.

That was my Chicken Chop. Hmmm...feeling hungry now?

Ly Mun was wearing this MixFM t-shirt that i gave him not too long ago. Look what the label says? Is this some sort of ID to proove that he's a...

Now, for the next three photos...try and see if you can find/spot the differences.

OMG, i feel so violated...anyways it was all cool. Good Food, great time, great company...all the best to y'all!

Xfresh Presents The Premier of National Treasure...

*WRONG*

Xfresh Presents A Sneak Preview of National Treasure...

*WRONG*

Xfresh Presents A Special Screening of National Treasure...

*CORRECT*

---------------------------------------

I've watched this movie twice before i even watched it at the Xfresh Screening. How? Why?

Well, i was invited to the press screening of National Treasure which happened like 5 days before the premiere screening of hitz.fm. Then i went to watch it again at the premiere on hitz.fm and watched it at the special screening by Xfresh.

Whoa..., i could have avoided the hitz.fm premiere but had to accompany a friend who wont be able to make it for the saturday screening by Xfresh.

Well, i could have avoided the Press Screening, but i had nothing better to do on that morning.

Xfresh Special Screening, had to be there...was on duty.

---------------------------------------
Pictures below are after the screening, we all had lunch at Burger King KLCC.

I believe, now you can tell that this is my favourite shirt.

Yes, it was Mei Yee's Birthday last last last week :P

This entry...is VERY VERY OLD. But like i said in the previous entry, im damn busy.

Well, actually i was busy but now..i seem to be very free.

Mei Yee, was one of our Xfresh CREW, part of the Content Development Team. She was the one who follows me everywhere. Namely to press conferences, interview with international artists, MTV Asia Awards 2004 @ Singapore, and many more.

This is her ever famous oven baked Paella.

Im not really sure what's in the drink, but some salt was placed all around the tip of the glass and lemon was served together. *spicyyyy*

Pineapple on a stick like Satay, served with Hersheys Melted Chocolate mixture with butter.

T-Rex on iMAX isn't something new, but it is for us here in Malaysia. Since its debut, the iMAX Digi Theater here in Times Square KL has received an enormous response by the general public and a great help by the Malaysian Media in publicising the theater with its 5 storey high screen and 555 in-house seats.

Xfresh CREW Edrei (Kamigoroshi / Agrashi) went to cover the Press Screening of T-Rex.

I know this is old...like way back in January, but hey...i've been busy! Anyway, later on in the afternoon Albert came along to Times Square to watch Polar Express in 3D.

Nothing much to say, coz i've already put most of the info's in a previous post long long time ago way before Xmas.

Right after Polar Express, my ex-collegemates from APIIT came to join us for tea, Deena and Maman.

We ended up not having tea, but instead we had Dinner together with Albert and another ex-collegemate Agung from Indonesia :P

Yea, just wanted to wish all of my friends a very Happy Chinese New Year.

That's about it...i'm still in the office now. 8.10pm already...

Hey hey hey.... i know you've been visiting my web-blog and found no updates!
What can i say? Its gonna be the same reason over and over again...

I'm SO BUSY!!!

1. Hari Raya Haji
2. Foreign Friend in KL
3. Volunteering for Red Cross
4. Work @ Office
5. No LIFE :(

Anyways, lets put that aside for the moment, last week i believe...well last wednesday la.
Member of the media were invited by 20th Century Fox to attend a media screening of "Elektra" @ 1

Utama TGV. This was a press screening, and prior to the screening we were invited to Celebrity

Fitness which is a gymnasium situated on the 3rd floor of the new wing @ 1 Utama.

Celebrity Fitness, the name says it all... it's a place where Celebrity goes to keep themselves fit! But hey, we didn't see any celebs there, its kinda new la. But anyways, I thought that by

attending the event that morning, i was going to be given a 1 month or 3 months complimentary passes. But nahh...it was just a whole load of "SCAM" (like how i thought it was going to be).

We didn't get anything, we were only given some drinks and a press release. But hey, the press kit did have a few vouchers, but nahh....all of those are for girls! It was a waste of time really, just a tour of Celebrity Fitness - which is the latest gym in town!

The plus points about this gym are:

1. Impressive number of Cardio equipments

2. Quite a variety of Abs and Weights available

3. The only gym in Malaysia to own their own complete set of Pilates equipments

4. Nice environment and lighting - ambience...for all parts of the gym.

5. There are more than 100 classes a week.

6. Got Steam and Sauna room for both male and females.

The bad points about this gym are:

1. The entrance to Celebrity fitness looks more like an entrance to a club / disco or

something. Very narrow and doesn't have that same feel as "Sweat Club" or "Fitness First" or the real Celebrity Gym @ California.

2. Pilates classes (the complete equipment gym room) have to pay separately from the normal gym fees.

3. The equipments look steady, but somehow looks plasticky.

4. The juice bar, you have to pay for the drinks, unlike Fitness First where you have a whole range of drinks to choose from for free.

5. The gym might be too full during peak hours, since there's no joining or processing fee for those who subscribe for 3 yrs.

6. Changing room, the lockers are damn TINY! not enough space to let people to change, the dressing area is too small.

7. The shower is fine, but there are no doors, there's only the curtains to close the cubicle and not a door.

8. There are TV screens for you to watch while doing your cardio, but they are positioned whereby if there's someone in front of you, you might find it hard to watch. Especially if the person in front is a sumo wrestler or tall guy.

9. No Jacuzzi...how la?

Overall, i wouldn't mind going to this gym due to the price of RM 75 per month, but the trick is

you have to pay for the 3 years on the spot. But, if you don't feel like paying RM 75 per month and dont want to commit yourself for a 3 yrs program. Then take the normal rate. But eitherways,

i've seen kids, teenagers entering this gym. I guess its so cheap and so convenient for them to go to everyday. So yea, where's the privacy man...

Here's my first ever bottle of "REDBULL"!!! Believe it or not!

Wow, this is so damn OLD story already...but hey, im sure you want to know what happened last sunday right?

My friends and I, about 9 of us went to the Red Crescent Association @ Jln. Ampang last sunday to help out with the packing and tranfsering of items to be sent over for the relief of the Tsunami Disaster in Acheh, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

We were there from morning 10.30am till about 2.30 when the trucks left for Port Klang.

Yes, we all went there to Port Klang too, we were given a sticker which we stick it up onto the front hood of the car and that tells the policemen that we are following the convoy to port klang.

Yes, we had police escort all the way from Jln. Ampang. No traffic jam at all, actually we were the ones who caused the jam last sunday on the MRR2 Highway if you were wondering.

The police had to stop the traffic flow to allow 10 military trucks and convoy vehicles to pass through. Basically the road was a lil' bit jammed up.

What did we do at the Red Crescent Association?

Basically, the only thing left to be done is the separation of clothes. They've received an enourmous number of clothes, both a mixture of male and female wear. Had to separate the male's and females, adults and childrens and babies.

The clothes were either very dusty or filled with rat shit on them. We were given protective masks to breath in, or else the dust could endanger us.

Anyways, Lunch was at Great Eastern Mall, although they provided us with some good food (Sambal Belacan, Rice, Ikan Masin, and Soup). Some of us couldn't handle it very well.

So yea, that's about it for now...
